Following a service maintenance visit, all Firelec Ltd Engineers will provide you with the legal documentation required to show your CBU/Static Inverters / UPS is maintained to British Standards BS5266.
This standard stipulates that all backup power supply systems that supply essential safety equipment, such as emergency lighting, should have batteries of a type having declared life expectancy of at least 10 years at 20°c ambient temperature. We will therefore provide you with a full and detailed report on all findings and actions taken during testing.
We want you to feel safe and confident by having essential around-the-clock protection, that’s why we also include 24-hour call-out availability, as part of the maintenance care we offer.
If our Engineer identifies any problems or faults which may be affecting your system, we will discuss all options with you and if authorised, offer repairs whilst on site if practicable or alternatively provide a quotation/return date for further works.
